Perfect Instant Pot Baked Ziti

Regular chicken soup in sodium chicken soup works well, but you may need to reduce salt to a quarter of a teaspoon.

Whipped cream, no one makes pasta for the diet, right? Use thick cream and don’t try to replace other creams. Plus, the Keto diet is very popular now, so this roasted pepper with thick cream is a diet food!

Spices – You only need simple spices such as salt, pepper, chopped garlic, dried basil, and dried oregano. Use all the required garlic. I always squeeze it with a tube of garlic dough, but I can also cut a clove of fresh garlic, squeeze it, or use a small bowl of chopped garlic.

Olive Pasta Noodle – This recipe only requires 16 square ounces (1 lb). Yes, you can use tubular dough, but ziti dough is the best way to use it and it’s quite common so you can find it at a grocery store.

Grated Parmesan Cheese – I usually say you grind yourself from slices, but after the trial, the ready-made grated things you buy will work in plastic bags or containers! I like it very much because it’s easier. I don’t recommend using grated parmesan cheese in a green can. With grated parmesan cheese, you can find it near the grated cheese grater at the grocery store. Or make sure to grind your meat from slices!

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 box (16 oz) ziti pasta
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed (I use garlic paste OR chopped garlic in a jar)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

  1. Sprinkle 6 QT instant pots with cooking spray. Pour the chicken stock and thick cream. It is important to pour them separately, and you must first pour the chicken stock.
  2. Add salt, pepper, and garlic to the liquid.
  3. Add pasta, but don’t fail. If there is a lot of dough or dough protruding from the liquid, press gently using a wooden spoon or spoon, but don’t move it into the liquid!
  4. Pour the chopped tomatoes evenly over the pasta, and sprinkle the basil and oregano on the tomatoes. Do not fail!
  5. Tighten the lid of the instant pot and set the valve to “off”. Select “Manual” (or “Pressure Cooker” if your IP address has it) and change the cooking time to 5 minutes. The pressure takes about 8 minutes, so the cooking time starts for 5 minutes.
  6. Let the pressure release normally for 10 minutes (this means the valve seal is not open, let the IP idle for 10 minutes after cooking time), then immediately release the remaining pressure.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir well.
  8. Serve with parmesan cheese and / or fresh basil if needed.
