Hot Cocoa Cakes are soft and delightful chocolate cakes with melted marshmallows and fabulous chocolate centers. These cakes really taste like a cup of hot chocolate!

Is everyone bored with Christmas cookies? I hope not, because I guess what I’m following today! This is an amazing hot chocolate cake. Heck, they’re delicious.

Hot chocolate biscuits are soft and delicious like a cup of delicious hot chocolate. On Christmas Eve, it is the perfect cake for santa with a cup of cold milk. It might even leave you with an additional gift if you want. Very good!

This hot cocoa cake is my favorite cake that I made during the holidays. I posted a recipe to my blog five years ago, so it definitely needs to be updated with new photos.

I made six batches this year and distributed them as gifts to my neighbors. I also did some work in my mother’s office and said it was very successful. Yes!

Soft and delightful chocolate cake with marshmallows and fabulous chocolate center. It really tastes like a cup of hot chocolate!



  • 1 (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1 sachet (12 ounces) of semi-sweet potatoes
  • 1½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1½ teaspoons of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • glass (filled) pink sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1½ teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate cake, cut into 1 inch


  1. In a medium size skillet, melt the butter and chocolate and stir constantly over medium heat.
    Remove from the fire and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer, sugar, beater, eggs and vanilla at low speed until
    smooth and mixed together. Mix cold chocolate mixture until well blended. Add the flour
    mixture in two groups, and stir at low speed until mixed. Cover the dough and let it cool for
    at least one hour.
  4. 2 large cakes with parchment or candles. Using a cake spoon or two measuring spoons, take
    the dough and roll it between your palms to form a cake ball. Arrange about 15 balls on each
    bread, one inch or more. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes, or even crack on the

  6. Remove cookies from the oven, and gently press half of the marshmallow with the brown
    side underneath and place it on each bun. Return to the oven and bake until the
    marshmallows soften, about 4 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 15 minutes
    and serve.
